Shaw Cross Sharks would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Matt Bramald for his commitment, hard work and contribution during his two seasons as Head Coach of the club.

Matt has played an important role in the development of our Open Age side, bringing his knowledge, experience and professionalism to the club both on and off the field.

Over the past two seasons, Matt has given his time and energy to helping move the Sharks forward, and his contribution has been greatly appreciated by everyone involved with the club.

Matt will remain in charge for the final two games of the season before departing Shaw Cross Sharks to begin his new role with Keighley Cougars.

While we are naturally sorry to see Matt leave, we are also incredibly proud to see him take the next step in his coaching career.

We would like to congratulate Matt on his appointment as Head Coach of Keighley Cougars.

The opportunity to take charge of a professional club is thoroughly deserved and is a fantastic recognition of the work Matt has put into his coaching career. We have no doubt that he will embrace the challenge and continue to develop as a coach at the highest level.

Matt will always be welcome at Shaw Cross Sharks, and we look forward to following his progress and supporting him in this exciting next chapter.

Thank you, Matt, for everything you have done for the Sharks over the last two seasons, and congratulations once again on your appointment with Keighley Cougars.

Everyone at Shaw Cross Sharks wishes you every success for the future.
